What is Cat Ribbon Day?

October 22nd is "Cat Ribbon (Pink Ribbon for Cats) Day." It was established by the Japan Veterinary Cancer Oncology Group (JVCOG), a general incorporated association working to improve the quality and outcomes of cancer treatment for animals, and was registered with the Japan Anniversary Association in 2019. Its aim is to spread early detection and early treatment of breast cancer in cats, so that no cat has to suffer from it.
